Bee Pollen is one of the most well known reverse aging super-foods on the planet today. Bee pollen is one of nature’s most complete foods and is a complete source of protein, rich in 44 vitamins and amino acids, 27 mineral salts, hormones, beneficial carbohydrates, and fats that offer more than 5,000 enzymes and co-enzymes necessary for digestion. This dense super-food contains the ingredients necessary for natural energy, and the continuation of life itself. Many nutritionists call bee pollen “the perfect food!”

Bee pollen is rich in the bioflavonoid rutin, important for capillary strength, and in vitamin B12. It is, in fact, one of the few vegetable sources of vitamin B12. Bee pollen may even prevent cancer. The Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research in NYC has been studying the effects of bee pollen on various types of cancer with positive results.

One of the most important bee pollen facts is that it is rich in antioxidants; pollen contains more than 185 of the best known nutritional ingredients beneficial to humans. Bee pollen has been scientifically proven to be an immune system booster, is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, and contains a wide array of essential proteins. Bee pollen has more quercetin (the most potent flavonol) than apples.

Bee pollen has appetite-suppressant properties and can be used to support weight loss. It corrects a possible chemical imbalance in body metabolism that may be involved in either abnormal weight-gain or abnormal weight-loss. It is nature’s true dietetic weight-loss food.

Bee pollen stimulates every organ in the body and has been linked to increased longevity. Lars-Erik Essen, M.D., a dermatologist from Sweden, says, “Bee pollen seems to prevent premature aging of the cells and stimulates growth of new skin tissue. It offers effective protection against dehydration and injects new life into dry cells. It smoothes away wrinkles and stimulates a life-giving blood supply to all skin cells.”

Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, believed bee pollen contributed to a long life. Russian researcher Professor Nicolai Vasillievich Tsitsin, a biologist at the Longevity Institute, discovered many of the natives of Georgia were beekeepers and ate raw, unprocessed honey with bee pollen every day. All of the 200 or more people he studied, who were past the age of 125, stated their principal food source was pollen and honey. Dr. Naum Joirich, chief scientist at the Longevity Academy in Vladivostak, said “long lives are attained by bee pollen users and that bee pollen was one of the original treasure houses of nutrition and medicine.”

Bee pollen can keep the skin youthful looking. Lars Erik Essen, M.D., a dermatologist in Halsingborg, Sweden, said that pollen exerts a powerful biological influence in preventing premature aging of cells and stimulating growth of new skin tissue.

Bee Pollen benefits:

  • Mental clarity and concentration.

  • Support for weight loss naturally as it balances hormones and chemicals in your body.

  • Improved metabolism and reduction in food cravings.

  • Effective lowering of HDL cholesterol levels.

  • Contains a vast array of phytonutrients that slow the aging process.

  • Prevention of prostate problems.

  • Potent immune system booster.

  • Powerful detoxifier.

Bee pollen is one of the oldest, most researched, healing foods on the planet. Its complete nutrition is beneficial to anyone looking to improve their mental and physical health, and overall well-being.

I take one heaping tablespoon of bee pollen in the morning and one in the late afternoon as an integral part of my reverse aging regimen and to boost my energy.
