Prescription Drugs Kill

One diabetes drug, Avandia® (Rosiglitazone), was recently scrutinized for its health effects. Dr. David Graham, a senior FDA drug safety researcher, reported Avandia® was likely to have killed more than 80,000 Americans. Advisory committee members for Avandia®, as with Vioxx®, complained the FDA allowed the drug on the market before enough data was collected.
